Waking up this early to teach (5am) is absolutely torture after pulling an almost all nighter this weekend.
My poor students. Hopefully I can get through the day without making them think I’m crazy.

my first car accident.
Quite a week.
Car accidents suck.
First one ever. Just glad it was no where near my fault. Stupid people shouldn’t drive.
Had a pretty good first day! Didn’t have kids today and spent most of the day trying to find things and figure out where to pick up, what to teach, how to teach it, when to teach it, scheduling, etc.
I’m the SAI (Supplemental Academic Instruction) teacher at a K-2 school. What that means is that I have small groups of students who show a reading deficiency come to me for 30 minutes...

Oy.
I’m really not good with last minute changes. I’ve been looking forward to starting my full time teaching job in the middle of March. And now I get to start tomorrow. With absolutely no training. (It’s the reading specialist for K-2nd grade, so not just a typical classroom teacher).
Tomorrow morning I will be up bright and early and heading back to school to teach little ones!...

I’m supposed to start my teaching job in Mid-March.
Well, the lady I’m coming in for went into labor this morning so I’m starting unexpectedly tomorrow!
The more fruits and veggies I eat, the more I crave them and the less I crave junk.
And buying produce is so much cheaper! Loving this new lifestyle.

Valentine's Day.
I woke up before him to make heart shaped pancakes, strawberries and a sandwich for his lunch. I hid little notes and candy throughout the house, his truck, and his clothes so he’d find them throughout the day. The breakfast table was covered in candy hearts and lit candles. It was beautiful.
